3 Amazing Reasons Why Your Family Should Go Barefoot More

Your family should spend more time barefoot.

"It's time for you to put your shoes on." I'm sure your mother or grandmother has told you this a million times. What about this one: "You will become sick if you go around barefoot." That's an oldie but a goodie! When I was a kid, those were the common expressions I heard. As a result, I'm not sure if I should be the same way with my kids. However, after conducting a considerable investigation, I discovered that it is the polar opposite. Many experts believe that youngsters will be better off if they leave their shoes at home. Adults should participate as well.

Have you ever heard of the term "grounding"?

Grounding, or "earthing," as some refer to it, entails putting your feet directly on the ground with no shoes or socks between them and the ground.

According to new research, coming into physical contact with the ground allows you to receive an energy infusion from Mother Earth. Consider it "vitamin G" (G for ground). The ground below offers vitamin G, a type of "electrical nourishment," in the same way that the sun above creates vitamin D in your body.

“Grounding is one of the most powerful antioxidants we've ever discovered. Grounding has been demonstrated to help with pain relief, inflammation reduction, sleep improvement, overall well-being, and so much more. Regrettably, many people in rich countries are no longer anchored." — Jospeh Mercola, M.D. (source)

That, I feel, is entirely correct. Do you recall the last time you strolled barefoot on a beach or in a park? Did you notice any sand or grass? When I do it, I feel much more connected to nature! Not only that, but I'm also in a good mood. I'm in good spirits. I'm feeling very energized.

Direct barefoot touch with the Earth's surface, which brims with natural, subtle energy, results in a sense of well-being rising up into your body.

You see, the Earth is an electrical planet, and you are a bioelectrical being inhabiting an electrical planet. Your body works on an electrical level. Examples include your heart and nervous system. (source).

So, the next time you go outside, whether to a local park or the beach, try removing your shoes and observe how it affects your experience. Allow your children to participate as well. If you're still not convinced, consider the following three compelling reasons why your family should go barefoot more often.

3 Incredible Reasons Why Your Family Should Be More Barefoot

1. There are fewer germs

Yes, you read that correctly. Going barefoot actually helps to keep germs at bay. Shoes are the ideal environment for fungus and bacteria to thrive. The damp and warm conditions found within shoes are ideal for germs to grow. Consider that for a moment. The simple act of exposing bare feet to fresh outside air helps to reduce the spread of infections.

In any case, our skin is meant to keep viruses out. We're also more likely to get sick by touching anything with our hands, which come into contact with so many items during the day. Everything goes into the mouths of small children! We don't even consider wearing gloves to protect our children from germs.

2. Avoid Injuries

Many physiotherapists believe that going barefoot is beneficial and can even avoid injuries. According to an American researcher, walking barefoot improves balance, posture, and prevents frequent foot ailments.

Having children's feet encased in shoes for the majority of the day can cause complications since their feet are unable to develop normally when they are restrained. The shoes inhibit crucial toe spread, interfering with the foot's capacity to function properly, limiting mobility development and increasing the risk of foot and leg injuries in children.

3. Enhance your senses

Going barefoot has a number of obvious advantages, one of which is that it feels great. Having our feet in contact with grass or sand can be a memorable experience for the entire family. We can truly connect with our surroundings when we are not wearing shoes.

We can also provide our children the opportunity to strengthen their senses by exposing them to diverse surfaces and temperatures by going barefoot. They learn to appreciate the world around them more when their senses are stimulated. Feel the crunching of the leaves or the softness of the grass as you walk through the park. Go to the beach and listen to the ocean waves while feeling the warm sun on your feet. This is a fantastic opportunity for our children to grow and improve their skills.
